Our Mother’s Day Contest Winner Has Renamed Key Lime Pie
For this year’s Mother’s Day, we held an online contest for Canada and USA (not including Puerto Rico.)
We asked our fans to tell us why their müm is the best and we had lots of amazing entries!
After 13 days, we had a grand prize winner winning a $50 Yogen Früz gift card and a chance to rename one of our frozen yogurt product for a month. Initially, our contest rules asked our fans to talk about their müm but we noticed something interesting about a number of participants’ entries. Instead of talking about their own müms, they all nominated one particular lady as the best müm (the winner of our contest). Her name will remain unknown but she has given us permission to share her story.
She has decided to rename our Key Lime Pie Ü Sensation to N.W. Treat. The story behind this name and the choice of Key Lime Pie Ü Sensation is all dedicated to her 3 sons. N.W. are the initials of all three of her sons and they love pie! Currently, she is living with her youngest son at the Ronald McDonald House in Toronto while her other two sons are at home. They have been separated for months because her youngest son is receiving treatment for his illness so she is staying alongside him to fight this battle. Her 2nd son is the bone marrow donor of her youngest son and we definitely agree with her that all her sons are rockstars! We wish her son a quick recovery and that they can reunite soon to share sweet moments together.
Not only are the kids rockstars but she (our winner) is also a champion for being a super müm!
We want to thank Ü for sharing your story with us and it is our pleasüre to share something sweet with Ü.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the N.W. Treat (Key Lime Pie flavür) at all of our full-serving Yogen Früz locations in Canada and USA. This will be available from June 8th until July 6th.Cheers!
